ENR Ranks Warfel Construction Co. as the Contractor of the Year for 2020

    ENR, Engineering-News Report ranked Warfel Construction Co. as the Contractor of the Year for 2020. The construction company will be featured in the upcoming August issue of ENR Mid Atlantic. The company has been ranked as the top contractor of the year in the region, while the main operations are located in Philadelphia. Warfel Construction Co. has worked on numerous large-scale projects in the sector of medical care, education, and senior care, operating on both building and updating facilities.

    The company’s service mentality contributed to increased activity rate in the sector of maintaining, updating, and building facilities in the sector of healthcare, senior care, and education. Warfel mostly worked on large-scale projects and have contributed to the community in numerous ways. As ENR reports, the company aided the community both by volunteering as well as monetarily. Warfel was involved in community playground rebuild, as well as participated in the food bank sorting and food serving alongside participating in the Make-a-Wish program.

    During the past three years, the company experienced a notable business expansion as well as an increase in activity and revenue generation.     Notably, Warfel was founded in 1911 and has never had a job site fatality in over 100 years of working as one of the top construction firms in the region. Some of the most notable construction projects conducted by Warfel are renovations and expansion of Fulton Theatre, the building of Barclay Friends Preston Residence, and 101NQ building revitalization.
