In the meanwhile, other emerging technologies are being adopted by some construction companies to help them excel in their business. Technology and adoption of technology can also pose as resolutions for other challenges the industry is facing. Some of these challenges are the labor shortage and safety. VR and augmented reality wearables, Artificial Intelligence, machine learning and the Internet of Things are some of the latest tech wonders that a “handful” of contractors and construction companies are using. These technologies can improve safety, enhance security, address communication and cooperation issues, as well as help with productivity in general.
