    Inspection in Miami-Dade County working on safety code and compliance of construction job sites in this area has halted all their operations until April 7th. During that time, contractors and developers will need to hire engineers by themselves. These engineers for hire will need to take on the role of construction site inspectors. Without an inspector to oversee the level of compliance, construction sites will be closed as a safety measure.

    Associated Builders and Contractors on Construction Projects Moving Forward

    The president and chief executive officer of Associated Builders and Contractors, Peter Dyga, defended the construction businesses moving forward with their projects, Dyga stated that it is very important not to shut the entire industry down, refereeing to construction. In case all construction projects would be closed and all construction firms seized operations, it would be more difficult to respond to urgent projects in the industry – such as building hospitals for example. It is very important to allow operations in the sector of construction – even with restrictive measures and increased inspection.
